As a result of the previously performed support to DLR, J-CDS installed and tested the newest release of the ESA CDF IDM version 6.14 on the new DLR server environment in DLR (www.dlr.de) Bremen. This IDM v6.14 will be the initial buildingblock on which DLR will build their own concurrent design environment. This IDM will also allow DLR to exchange study data with the ESA CDF (www.esa.int/cdf) during joint studies.

J-CDS also presented the Activity Deployer i.e. a J-CDS application to support the creation of new Concurrent Design activity environments based on the ESA CDF IDM, manage these activities and the involved participants. J-CDS suggests to use the Activity Deployer when working with the ESA CDF IDM to avoid errors in the creation of new Concurrent Design activity environments.
