J-CDS strengthens its competences related to Enterprise Architecture and System of System design. Since last year (2008) a core group of J-CDS staff has regularly been involved in European Space Agency System of System projects. That same group has now received extensive training on the Architecture Framework TOGAF 8-9 (www.opengroup.org/togaf ; www.architecting-the-enterprise.com)  and some important Architecture tools i.e. System Architect (www-01.ibm.com/software/awdtools/systemarchitect/) and Focal Point (www-01.ibm.com/software/awdtools/focalpoint/).

J-CDS is now completely ready (having had theory and the hands-on experience) to provide Architecturing Services to its customers , e.g. in the field of Aerospace, Offshore and Defence.
