J-CDS release the Requirements Mapper v1.0. The latest addition to the leading J-CDS Concurrent Engineering/Design tool suite.

The Requirements Mapper documents the stakeholder values, structures them in groups, links these values to requirements and design parameters in the Concurrent Design Integrated Design Model.

The Requirements Mapper (RM, also called 'Stakeholder Value Mapper') provides the long envisaged (desired) and necessary next step into the enhanced participation/contribution of the customer and other stakeholders in the design process. The RM formalises and structures 'vague' values and directly links them with requirements and design parameters. In this way stakeholder expectations are clear for the whole team. The link to the design parameters allows tracing of the level and number of achieved requirements and stakeholder values. This highly enhances customer satisfaction. The RM is industry independent, it was developed with the frame of a Building and Construction project, but is now also alsready in use for Space System Concurrent Design activities.

The RM can be purchased as a seperate standalone tool as well as an add-on module of the J-CDS CDP.
