J-CDS submitted a proposal in the frame of the Dutch ' Maritieme MKB-project ' Senternovem (www.senternovem.nl) funded schema for the introduction of Concurrent Design in the Extreme Offshore innitiatives.

The main first extreme offshore examples targeted by this proposal are subartic and deepwater innitiatives. The need for new technologies in these extreme undertakings leads to the need for new design approaches. Market research has pointed out that the J-CDS Concurrent Design approach has the potential to become a very important enabling process to achieve the extreme offshore goals in time, in budget and within the environmental contraints.
