JAQAR Concurrent design Services and Solutions (J-CDS B.V.).

J-CDS started in 2005 through the European Space Angency Incubator Centre initiative. J-CDS' products and services are based on the ESA Concurrent Design method which is applied on a dialy basis at the ESA Concurrent Design Facility for the design of new space systems (satellites, launchers, instruments, planetray habitats etc.).

The ESA CDF managed through the implementation of Concurrent Design to reduce the duration of conceptual feasibility studies of space systems by a factor 4 and the cost of such a study by a factor 2.

J-CDS now brings these benefits also to its customers in the space and non-space industry.

The interest of space industry and non-space industry for the ESA CDF, the hands-on exclusive expertise convinced some engineers of JAQAR Space Engineering to set-up a new company called JAQAR Concurrent Design Services, in short J-CDS.

The J-CDS products are based on ESA's CDF proven methodology (since 1999). ESA's CDF currently performs about 14 mission/spacecraft conceptual design studies per year. It is considered to be one of the most innovative labs of ESA, supported heavily by highest management.
